Ruggedized and ready for adventure, the GoPro HERO5 Black action camera can be taken to the skies, over rough terrain, and even underwater without flinching, recording 4K videos and 12MP photos along the way. The sealed rubberized chassis allows the HERO5 Black to be taken to depths of 33′ without the need for an external housing. So whether your escapades take you to the lands of concrete, sand, dirt, snow, or water, the HERO5 Black is prepared to record with a single button press. Once you have finished recording, use the touchscreen to playback and even edit your footage right on the camera.

It’s hard to speak about the versatility of the HERO5 Black and not mention the mounting possibilities available through the included and separately available accessories. The Frame is included with the HERO5 Black and not only adds another layer of protection, it provides an interface to the world of 3-prong accessories. To get you started, a mounting buckle quick-release for The Frame and two adhesive mounts (one curved and one straight) with quick-releases are included. Other accessories such as handlebar mounts, selfie sticks, suction cups, and dive housings for creative placement of the HERO5 Black are available separately.

Not only is it more versatile than previous generation HEROs, it’s also easier to use. A touchscreen graces the rear surface, displaying a revamped user interface, while the front screen combined with the top and side buttons offer a more traditional one-button control experience. If the camera is off, pressing the record button will power it on and immediately start recording. Hands-free control is also possible using the built-in Voice Control feature. Speaking simple voice commands can control various functions inside the camera, including start/stop video recording, photo burst, and more.

The GoPro 3-Way was designed to work as a camera grip, an extension arm, or a mini tripod. It features a collapsible design that measures 7.5″ when folded, and can be expanded up to 20″ when fully extend. The extension arm is foldable to help you get the right amount of reach, or it can be removed entirely if you just want to use the grip part. Tucked conveniently away inside the hand grip is a mini tripod that connects to the base, or even directly to your GoPro’s housing.

With the 3-Way Mount, numerous shooting opportunities are possible. Use the grip, or grip with extension, as a handheld shooter for following action on the move. Use the extension as a selfie stick, capturing self-portraits while keeping the camera and mount out of the shot. Or extend the camera so you can get an overhead shot, or to capture from hard to reach spots. And for the most stability, where the camera is stationary, use the tripod mode and let the action fly past you.

The system is waterproof so you can safely take it surfing, snorkeling, or whatever your favorite water sport happens to be. Additionally, if you fill the tripod compartment with water, you can even create neutral buoyancy for scuba diving.

Designed for microSD devices such as smartphones, interchangeable-lens cameras, drones, or GoPro action cameras that can capture Full HD, 3D, and 4K video, as well as raw and burst photography, the 64GB Extreme UHS-I microSDXC Memory Cardfrom SanDisk has a capacity of 64GB, is compatible with the UHS-I bus, and features a speed class rating of V30, which guarantees minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support the V30 standard, this card also supports the U3 standard, which also guarantees minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. Read speeds are supported up to 160 MB/s and write speeds max out at 60 MB/s.

While this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-I / V30 / U3 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-I / V30 / U3. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device’s speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-I and U1, which supports minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s, or Class 10, which also supports minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Aside from support for UHS-I, V30, and U3, SanDisk also built this card with support for the Application Performance Class 2 (A2) spec, which includes optimizations to give Android users an improved mobile experience, delivering faster mobile app performance. The A2 spec allows the card to manage random read input-output access per second (IOPS) operations so it can quickly open apps and process accompanying tasks, such as audio, graphics, saved profiles, and in-app permissions.

As with most SanDisk media, this memory card is shockproof, X-ray proof, and waterproof, while also being able to withstand temperatures, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments. Should the card’s data become compromised, you also benefit from the option to download RescuePRO Deluxe software, and SanDisk’s Memory Zone app offers users a simple way to organize, browse, and back up files on their Android mobile device. Additionally, included is a microSD to SD adapter with a write protect switch, allowing this card to be used in SD-compatible devices.

The black, impact-resistant Dashpoint AVC 1 Hard-Shell Case from Lowepro is a lightweight, molded hard-shell case. Underneath a soft interior lid within the main compartment it holds an action video camera such as the GoPro, as well as accessories like housing and mounts around a padded touch-fastened divider. It’s slightly larger than the previous-generation battery yet also has improved charge times thanks to the USB-C rapid charging feature. Additionally, an integrated authentication chip handshakes with compatible cameras communicating exact battery percentage, so you know when it’s time to recharge.

The GoPro Chesty (Performance Chest Mount) has a padded design that lets it sit more stably and comfortably on the chest, and it’s also made with breathable materials that further add to the comfort aspect. The Chesty features a standard 3-prong mount and allows you to capture hands-free POV shots with GoPro cameras in nearly all activities, including high-performance activities such as skiing or motorbiking. You can also mount a GoPro Karma Grip onto the 3-prong mount by using the Mounting Ring that comes with the Karma Grip. The Chesty is adjustable to fit most body types as well as over heavy winter coats. It secures on using a quick-release buckle that’s easy to handle even with gloves on.

The Handler Floating Hand Grip from GoPro provides comfortable support and stability for your action camera in and out of the water. If dropped in the water, it keeps your camera afloat, and is easy to locate and recover thanks to a bright-orange cap on the bottom.
